Bags gathered and rental car found (we had no idea just how useful the 4X4 aspect of our Mitsubishi Pajero - Montero SUV was going to be) off we drive to The Viking Village, the perfect place to get acclimatized. This fellow greets visitors to the hotel and restaurant complex located in the nearby village of Hafnarfjordur - The Town in the Lava.
