Fortunately, Iceland is not nearly so icy as it sounds. Bathed in the warm currents of the Gulf Stream, it is positively balmy considering just how far north the country lies.

I'm a critter-loving author so chronically messy and easily distracted that I sometimes wonder how I ever get anything done!
