Haukur Suska-Gartharsson is our host during our stay in the north. While waiting in the barn for a truck to come and pick up the horses (that will be used during the round-up the following day), we are entertained by Haukur's talented soccer-playing dog.

I'm a critter-loving author so chronically messy and easily distracted that I sometimes wonder how I ever get anything done! I love being outside, enjoy gardening (though I don't have enough hours in the day at the moment to do much more than cut the grass occasionally), and could spend my whole life playing with my horses. Since that isn't practical, I make my living as a writer, probably about the best and the worst job in the world.
